Lost Mine Peak by Charles Dobbs. Located in Big Bend National Park, legend has it that early Spanish explorers of the Southwest discovered a rich body of ore on the highest point on Lost Mine Peak. The fierce Comanche Indians resented the Spaniards' invasion of their homeland and hunting grounds, attacked and killed them to the last man. They sealed the mine entrance to forever prevent further exploitation.

Charles is a Native Texan currently living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has been doing photography since 2007 as a second career.
